Siemens Energy is seeking a Materials Handler to support daily warehouse and logistics operations in Raleigh, NC. You will receive, store, pick, pack, and ship materials to fulfill customer orders and field service needs, using SAP to process transactions.

You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with procurement, quality, and service teams to drive safety and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Competenze

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment.
  • Experience using SAP or other warehouse management systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, with a demonstrated commitment to safe material handling practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently in a high-volume warehouse environment.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization through proper storage, labeling, transaction processing, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
  • Support inventory investigations, non-conforming materials, damaged shipments, and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
  • Contribute to safety, quality, environmental, special project, and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.

As a Materials Handler, you will support daily warehouse and logistics operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials to ensure customer orders and field service needs are met accurately and on time. You will use SAP to process goods receipts, goods issues, inventory transactions, and other material movements while maintaining inventory accuracy. Your day will also include operating material handling equipment, supporting physical inventory activities, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse, and assisting with inventory investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, procurement, quality, and service teams to support operational excellence.

What You Bring
