Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a motivated Material Handler to support the flow of materials on-site. You will lift, carry, and stack items, and operate both motorized and non-motorized equipment with proper training.

The role requires physical labor, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. On-the-job training will be provided in a production environment with potential for additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; entry-level on-the-job training.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to optimize flow and stack as needed.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized handling equipment; may require training.
• Respond to foreman/training to improve work processes and knowledge.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries; participate in safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
