Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a full-time Material Handler (Night Shift) for our Boise Meridian branch. You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, move slabs and materials, and ensure loads are secured and accurately tracked.

The role requires 1–2 years in material handling, a high school diploma, and safety-conscious practices. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, EAP, FSA, and 401k.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in material handling loading or receiving product
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification is a plus
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Knowledge of hand woodworking tools and power tools (table saw, chop saw)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Reliable with good time management
• Valid driver's license and clear background check

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move heavy material/slabs throughout the warehouse
• Inventory tracking
• Ensure loads are secure on A-Frame using straps and cleats
• Move materials for Floform/customers using air lifters and forklifts
• Transfer, store, and package finished and unfinished product for shipment
• Perform safe heavy lifting with mechanical lifters
• Double-check load accuracy and detect damage
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area
• Follow forklift and lifter safety rules
• Read units of measurement and work Monday–Thursday (Night Shift)

Required immediately, our LOCAL BOISE MERIDIAN BRANCH is seeking full-time MATERIAL HANDLER (Night Shift) 4:40pm - 1am

Desired Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years experience in material handling loading or receiving product
• Previous warehouse experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of hand woodworking tools and the operation of power tools such as table saw, chop saw etc.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and quality
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be reliable and possess good time management skills
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clear criminal record check

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move heavy material/slabs from one place to another throughout the warehouse
• Inventory tracking
• Always ensuring all loads are secure on A-Frame as required by using strapping, banding, cleating, etc
• Move heavy materials for Floform /customers using air lifters and forklifts
• Move A-frames, safely and accurately transfer, store, and/or package for shipment various finished and unfinished product.
• Continuously perform safe heavy lifting with mechanical lifters
• Double checks load for accuracy and damage
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in assigned work area
• Consistently follows all operational safety rules of mechanical lifters and forklift safety
• Must be able to safely lift 35 to 50lbs
• Must be able to work with hand tools using wrist and fine manipulation for long periods of time
• Must be able to withstand long periods of time and exposure to water to hands/feet
• Ability to read units of measurements
• Monday - Thursday (Full Time)
