Job summary

FloFORM Countertops' Boise branch is seeking a Full time Fabricator/Polisher (Night Shift) to finish stone and engineered quartz surfaces to template specs. You will operate grinders and polishers, read measurements, and handle hand and power tools with care.

Load and unload workpieces, maintain quality, and support other duties. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life/ADD insurance, EAP, FSA, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience polishing natural stone or engineered quartz is a plus.
• Experience using grinders and polishers is an asset.
• Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented.
• Basic computer skills, MS Office.
• Ability to read units of measurements.
• Knowledge of hand woodworking tools and power tools (table saw, chop saw).
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to templates or blueprint specs.
• Grind, sand, and polish surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Load/unload and position workpieces on equipment or tables.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Monday - Thursday (Full Time).

Required immediately, our BOISE Branch is seeking Full time FABRICATOR/POLISHER (Night Shift)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role with polishing on natural stone and engineered quartz a plus or experience auto detailing considered transferrable skills
• Experience using grinders and polishers an asset
• Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented
• Basic computer skills, MS office
• Have the ability to read units of measurements
• Demonstrate knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operate power tools such as table saw, chop saw, etc.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to confirm to templates, other parts and layouts, or blueprint specifications
• Grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
• Unload/Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools and mechanical lifters.
• Other duties as assigned
• Monday - Thursday (Full Time)
