Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a CNC Operator for the night shift at our Boise location. You will safely operate the CNC machine, set up stock, load parts, and verify settings with precision.

Strong math skills and English comprehension are required, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean background check. We offer competitive pay ($21–$24/hr DOE), comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, EAP, FSAs, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNC Operator experience required.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good reading/understanding of written English.
• Ability to understand fractions and measurements; troubleshoot.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine safely on night shift.
• Set up stock using laser guides for placement.
• Load machines with stock using mechanical lifters.
• Verify settings by measuring positions to standards.
• Monitor drilling, grooving and cutting for quality; adjust as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe operation of the CNC machine
• Sets-up stock to be machined using laser guides for placement of product
• Loads machines by lifting stock into position using mechanical lifters
• Verifies settings by measuring positions; adhering to set standards
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting; taking measurements detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Maintains workstation in a clean and orderly manner
• Observes and adhere to all safety procedures while on the production floor
• Other duties as assigned
