Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops in Post Falls, ID seeks an EXPERIENCED POLISHER / FABRICATOR for night shift to join our production team. You will polish, fit, and finish natural stone and engineered quartz to templates and specs, ensuring top-quality surfaces.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, are hardworking, organized, and comfortable using grinders, polishers and power tools. We offer competitive wages and benefits to support your career.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year experience in a similar polishing role.
• Experience with grinders and polishers is an asset.
• Hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented.
• Basic computer skills, MS Office.
• Ability to read units of measurements.
• Knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operate power tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Polish, file and fit surfaces to templates and specs.
• Polishing, gluing and mitering pieces.
• Grind, sand, and polish objects to prepare surfaces.
• Load/unload and adjust work pieces onto equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required immediately, our Post Falls Branch is seeking Full time EXPERIENCED POLISHER / FABRICATOR (NIGHT SHIFT)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• MUST HAVE 1-Year experience in a similar role with polishing on natural stone and engineered quartz
• Experience using grinders and polishers an asset
• Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented
• Basic computer skills, MS office
• Have the ability to read units of measurements
• Demonstrate knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operate power tools such as table saw, chop saw, etc.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to confirm to templates, other parts and layouts, or blueprint specifications
• Polishing, gluing and mitering pieces together
• Grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
• Unload/Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools and mechanical lifters.
• Other duties as assigned
