Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a CNC Operator for Night Shift at our Boise local branch. You will be responsible for safe operation of CNC machines, setting up stock, loading and measuring to spec, and maintaining quality throughout production. The role requires attention to detail, math skills, and strong English comprehension.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CNC Operator experience
• Basic mathematical skills

• Troubleshooting and good judgement
• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal record check

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine safely.
• Set up stock using laser guides for placement.
• Load machines using mechanical lifters.
• Verify settings by measurements and standards.
• Monitor drilling, grooving, and cutting; adjust as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe workstation.
• Follow all safety procedures on the production floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe operation of the CNC machine


• Sets-up stock to be machined using laser guides for placement of product


• Loads machines by lifting stock into position using mechanical lifters


• Verifies settings by measuring positions; adhering to set standards


• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting; taking measurements detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes


• Maintains workstation in a clean and orderly manner


• Observes and adhere to all safety procedures while on the production floor


• Other duties as assigned
