Job summary

Charter Next Generation in Blythewood, SC, is seeking production team members to operate and maintain packaging lines. You will transfer finished rolls, label to spec, and keep a clean, safe work area.

This role offers a unique 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour night shifts, lifting up to 65 pounds, forklift experience, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Transfer finished rolls from extrusion line.
• Package and label rolls per customer specifications.
• Remove scrap.
• Stock production and packaging areas with necessary materials.
• Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers.

The Role

From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Schedule:

• Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule
• Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm - 6:00am)

What You’ll Do

• Transferring of finished rolls of film from an extrusion line
• Packaging/labeling the rolls per customer specifications
• Scrap Removal
• Stocking production/packaging areas with necessary materials
• Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers

What You’ll Bring

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary:

• Wages starting at $17.50
• +$2.50 shift differential
