Job summary

Doosan Corporation is seeking a 2nd shift material handler to unload, move, and stage parts in our warehouse. You will use hoist-attached devices or manual methods to load pallets and trays, following standard work and safety rules.

The role requires the ability to work while meeting time-sensitive targets, communicate with supervisors, and perform routine maintenance and stocking duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must follow established methods and procedures.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• Able to work rapidly under time pressure for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and stacks material using hoist-attached lifting device or manual handling.
• Loads/unloads materials onto pallets, skids, or lifting devices by hand as needed.
• Transfers parts from racks to trays or racks and moves kit carts per procedure.
• Maintains safety checks on equipment and adheres to safety rules.
• Operates electronic scanner for material transactions.

Job description

Objective is to transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jack or using a lifting device attached to a hoist called out within the standard work. Operation of sit down, stand up, and high - reach lifts

2nd Shift: 4:30pm-3:00am (Mon-Thur) Potential for mandatory OT on Fridays

Pay Scale: $20.50-$29.57 DOE

Role & Responsibility

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.
• Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.
• Follows set route through department to load kit carts.
• Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line.
• Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment.
• Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Keeps aisles clean and orderly.
• Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement

• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.

• Experience: 0>2 years
• The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
