Job summary

Bobcat Company in Statesville, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload, load, and move materials using manual handling, pallet jacks, and hoist-attached devices. You will follow assigned routes, operate scanning equipment, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work under time pressure. Prior warehouse experience is not required, but reliability and good communication are essential.

• Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.
• The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms is required.

Job Information

Objective is to transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jack or using a lifting device attached to a hoist called out within the standard work. Operation of sit down, stand up, and high - reach lifts

Role & Responsibility

Essential Functions

• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.
• Loads parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.
• Follows set route through department to load kit carts.
• Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line.
• Maintains safety checks on necessary equipment.
• Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Uses electronic scanner to transact material as needed.

Other Duties

• Keeps aisles clean and orderly.
• Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
• Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement
