Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 4 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Work performed in production environment with exposure to noise, dust and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Physically handles materials to ensure movement is optimized; lifts, carries, and stacks items as needed.
• Records movement of incoming and outgoing materials and verifies accuracy of work performed by self and others.
• Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some requiring specialized training.
• Plans and assigns work tasks to Material Handlers to meet production goals.
• Trains employees in required tasks, including handling techniques, machinery use, and safety guidelines.
