Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read orders and work instructions.
• Factory Material Handling experience required.
• Mechanical and mathematical skills required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and bend/lift as needed.
• Must obtain and maintain a PIV license.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
• Licensed to operate Narrow aisle stacker and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine or transmission kitting/picking for production builds.
• Supply plant-wide production parts to machining and assembly areas.
• Ensure FIFO kitting and inventory movement.
• Maintain timely rotation of kit carts and material line support.
• Document paperwork for all kitting activities and internal movements.
• Verify material movements and inventory records daily.
• Conduct inventory audits to improve accuracy.
• Support Kanban replenishments and shortages.
• Maintain smooth flow of production line materials and warehouse.
• Assist with quality alerts movement and disposition.
• Communicate inventory events interdepartmentally.
• Carry out material handling duties per SOPs.
• Packaging and labeling experience.
• Operate narrow-aisle stacker and forklift as required.
