Job summary

RENK America in Muskegon, Michigan is seeking qualified machinists to fabricate precision components for defense, marine, and industrial markets. The role supports multiple shifts and requires reading drawings, operating CNC lathes and mills, and following process books to ensure quality parts.

Starting wage is $28.47 per hour with incremental increases to $32.78 after 1040 hours, plus shift differentials of 7% (2nd shift) and 14% (3rd shift). US-based facility with a strong quality culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years machining experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read orders and work instructions.
• Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings.
• Must have mechanical skills.
• Must have mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and must be able to bend and lift.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines such as CNC, lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Follow documented process books for machine setup.
• Operate machines according to processes in manufacturing of components.
• Gauge parts per process book.
• Experience using hand gauges (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, Go/No-Go gauges).
• Assume other duties as assigned by Management.
