J&L Building Materials, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Avondale, PA. The role focuses on accurate load preparation for deliveries and on-site customer service with emphasis on safety and integrity.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, inventory accuracy, and adhering to all safety policies while ensuring timely handling of materials and paperwork. This position requires a reliable, detail-oriented team member willing to work about 40 hours weekly with occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service onsite and accurately prepare loads for deliveries.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and transport materials; perform safety checks.
• Sort and store materials by size, type, or product code; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete paperwork promptly and maintain safe warehouse operations.
• Be available for 40 hours per week and Saturday shifts after training.
