Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation in Lake Crystal, MN is seeking a warehouse associate to move parts and finished goods, assist production, and support lean initiatives. You will load/unload materials, verify quantities, and prepare shipments on site.

The role requires forklift proficiency, strong attention to detail, and safe work practices. Typical schedule is four 10-hour days with non-exempt hourly pay, located on site at 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal, MN.

Qualifications

• Passing forklift program is required.
• Attention to detail is vital; ability to read, count, kit components, rotate materials, document work, perform basic math, and work with serial numbers/quantities/shipping docs.
• Ability to work with the business operating system to obtain information, produce reports, and locate job assignments; regular job rotation to meet schedule and safety needs.
• Must be a team player with co-workers and other departments/facilities.
• Must work safely, wear PPE, complete maintenance requests, and communicate hazards to others.
• Complete Hazardous Waste Management Training for waste management, storage, transport and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Move and unload raw materials and finished goods using forklift.
• Assist in locating and supplying required parts for production.
• Load/unload machines and trucks; verify quantities and store materials.
• Kit or package components for shipments as needed.
• Enter serial numbers and lot/trace data; perform cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives; maintain clean work area.
