Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and are willing to learn forklift operation; previous warehousing or production experience is a plus. This role offers steady day shift hours and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in general labor, warehousing, or production environments preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn forklift operation (certification may be required).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stack materials using hand tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Sort, pack, and re-pack materials with proper labeling.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage during handling or transport.
• Operate cranes, hoists, dollies, or other lifting devices for heavy loads.
• Record units handled or moved using production sheets or electronic systems.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment storage areas and workspaces.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on material-handling equipment.
