Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to support production by locating and supplying parts, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role requires forklift operation, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures.

Work includes lifting up to 50 lbs, with overhead Hoists up to 100 lbs, and regular rotation of tasks within a four-ten hour shift on site. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required to operate lifts.
• Ability to read, count, and document serial numbers, quantities, and shipping documents.
• Regularly rotate tasks to meet the job schedule and safety requirements.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in locating and supplying required parts for production.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from machines.
• Load and unload trucks, verify quantities, and store materials/parts.
• Kit or package components for shipments as needed.
• Enter serial numbers and lot/trace data accurately.
