Job summary

RAM Fabrication in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle, move, and store materials, verify deliveries match purchase orders, and maintain accurate stock records. You will load and unload items with a forklift, assist in inventory control, keep work areas organized, and collaborate with managers to resolve discrepancies.

A high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related experience are preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with record keeping and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of products for outgoing and incoming deliveries.
• Identify, locate, and load products for delivery. Verify the products loaded for delivery match the customer’s purchase order (PO).
• Unload materials and supplies for production inventory and verify materials received match the descriptions and quantities on the pick ticket.
• Move products in the shop with forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Identify products that are damaged and remove/report for correction.
• Keep a well maintained and updated record of stock and inventory, convey when items are in short supply.
• Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by maintaining as instructed.
• Collaborate with managers and team to locate missing items, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
