AOC Metal Works is seeking a Material Handler to support production and distribution by delivering materials and staging finished products. The role requires forklift experience and a willingness to cross-train in all warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Significant forklift experience or certification required.
• Able to work in a team-oriented environment that allows for individual differences and growth.
• Effective organization, scheduling, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic language skills. Able to read, understand and communicate basic information in English.
• Must be able to analyze information with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess computer and data entry skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work in a hot/cold warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by labeling and stocking materials and recording locations.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed on production orders.
• Deliver materials to work centers and manage in-process inventory.
• Document material disposition and locations of units.
• Receive supplies and verify codes, lot numbers and quantities.
• Perform pre-use inspections and basic maintenance on material-handling equipment.
• Cross-train and support other warehouse areas as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
