Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, organizing, staging, and moving materials for customer orders and production needs. You’ll work within a collaborative supply chain team to maintain inventory accuracy and assist shipping with carriers.

Daily tasks include using RF scanners, SAP and WMS systems, and performing cycle counts. A high school diploma and warehouse experience are required; safe operation of forklifts and related equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory control, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, WMS, RF scanners, or similar inventory management systems.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and order pickers (certifications preferred).
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, material tracking, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to support high-volume operations while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Warehouse team and cross-functional departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Receive, organize, stage, kit, pick, and pack materials to support customer orders and production needs.
• Prepare and ship materials through LTL and freight carriers with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize RF scanners, SAP, and warehouse management systems to track inventory and material movement.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, quantity verification, and material location management.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and order pickers while maintaining safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment while following all company policies and procedures.
