Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC seeks a Material Handler to support receiving, put away, picking, kitting and delivery to production. You will ensure accurate material movements in the MRP system and maintain proper labeling and part identification.

The role emphasizes safety, material care, and timely delivery to meet production schedules, with opportunities to work with powered industrial vehicles where certified.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
• Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous Powered Industrial Vehicle certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements, including PPE.
• Receive, put away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production.
• Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements in the MRP system.
• Ensure all material is properly identified with labels and part numbers.
• Handle material to prevent damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.
• Notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issues.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles where certified.
• Meet production schedule for material delivery to production.
• Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.
