Aerotek is hiring a Material Handler for an industrial waste processing and recycling operation in Henderson, CO. You will help receive, process, and move waste materials, load/unload containers, and follow strict safety rules to protect people and the environment.

Training happens on the Day Shift for 3–6 months. Afterward, you may move to Second Shift (2:00 PM–12:00 AM, +$1.00/hour) or Third Shift (6:00 PM–4:00 AM, +$2.00/hour). This is a Contract to Hire role based out of Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in manufacturing, production, logistics, transloading, oil & gas, warehouse operations, or airport ramp/tarmac environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and processing incoming waste materials.
• Load and unload containers, totes, drums, tankers, and trailers.
• Decontaminate empty drums and containers per safety guidelines.
• Perform general labor including cleaning and decontamination.
• Create and maintain shipping and manifest documentation.
• Handle materials safely and follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Material Handler - Industrial Waste Processing

Location: Henderson, CO

Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour

We are seeking a Material Handler to join a growing industrial waste processing and recycling operation in Henderson, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands‑on work, want a stable career in an essential industry, and are looking for long‑term growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and processing incoming waste materials
• Load and unload containers, totes, drums, tankers, and trailers
• Decontaminate empty drums and containers according to established safety and environmental guidelines
• Perform general labor duties including cleaning and decontamination activities
• Create and maintain shipping and manifest documentation
• Handle materials safely and follow all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, logistics, transloading, oil & gas, warehouse operations, or airport ramp/tarmac environments
• Basic computer skills required, including the ability to use email and Microsoft Teams
• Ability to perform physical labor and work around industrial equipment
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a regulated environment

Work Environment

• Industrial treatment, storage, recycling, and processing facility
• Outdoor work environment with exposure to various weather conditions
• Facility processes both solid and liquid industrial waste materials
• Candidates must be comfortable performing physical labor throughout the shift

Schedule

Training will be completed on Day Shift for approximately 3-6 months.

After training, employees may move to:

• Second Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (+$1.00/hour shift differential)
• Third Shift: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM (+$2.00/hour shift differential)

Shift differentials apply after the training period.

Pay and Benefits
