Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is hiring a Material Handler III to support shipping, receiving and inventory control for pharmaceutical fill/finish operations. You will handle temperature-controlled shipments, maintain logs with emphasis on accuracy, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

The role requires adherence to cgmp, safety standards, and valid driver credentials. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience, knowledge of transporting temperature sensitive materials, and experience

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of transportation of temperature sensitive materials required
• Ability to prioritize, to make good decisions and multitask
• Intermediate math and computer skills; good written and oral communication
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to follow instructions with minimal guidance
• Willing to put the team first; strong commitment to excellence and quality
• Must understand cGMP requirements and safety practices
• APICS coursework or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping responsibilities including documentation, schedules and inventory control
• Oversee Receiving and Inventory Control as well as Shipping
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects for shipping methods
• Load/unload materials between dock and truck and move materials between locations
• Prepare temperature sensitive shipments per procedures
• Process and ship materials; ensure proper storage and labeling
• Record accurate manufacturing component inventories and investigate discrepancies
• Follow SOPs to ensure compliant cgmp operations
• Perform material sampling and cycle counts as required
• Attend DOT and IATA training as needed
