Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in material handling, warehouse, planning, or related operational role.
• Basic computer skills including SAP or other MRP systems.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of material handling.
• Preferred: 3+ years in aerospace or manufacturing roles; familiarity with automated storage and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Put away, pick, kit, pack, and issue material with high accuracy.
• Transfer incoming stock into proper bin locations.
• Pick and kit materials for production, delivery orders, and transfer orders.
• Transact material movements using SAP/MRP/WMS, handheld scanners, and PCs.
• Operate storage/retrieval systems (e.g., vertical lift modules, carousels).
• Perform cycle counting and verify inventory accuracy; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain FIFO, serialization, and lot/batch control.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe per 5S standards.
• Release work orders, BOMs, and schematics to production floor.
• Expedite parts between production areas to meet schedules.
• Monitor shortages and take action throughout lifecycle.
• Ensure production floor needs are met promptly; coordinate with Production Control and Engineering.
• Follow and audit physical material flow to ensure schedule conformance.
• Report problems and drive corrective actions.
