Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a machine shop, warehouse, or logistics setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with material planning and shop floor support systems.
• Strong computer skills including ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Interprets blueprints and material callouts for complex job requirements.
• Operates overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and band saws with safety and precision.
• Monitors material usage and suggests substitutions or reallocations based on real-time conditions.
• Liaises between Engineering, Planning, and Production for material-related problem solving.
• Maintains records of material movements and stock levels using the ERP system.
• Supports inventory audits, resolves discrepancies, and assists in cycle counts.
• Mentors and provides on-the-job training to peers.
• Keeps workspace organized (6S) and follows safety procedures.
