Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Material Handler III in Arkansas to support plastic bottle production. You will ensure materials are accurate, move goods by forklift, and maintain documentation and Lean practices on a cross-functional team.

You will perform line clearances, verify materials, and assist in staging finished goods while upholding safety standards and 6S principles. Competitive benefits start day one, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic mathematical skills and computer skills required.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
• Able to complete documentation legibly and per procedure.
• Trained as forklift and hand cart driver preferred.
• Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
• Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, SOPs and cGMP.
• Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur.
• Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes for the production of Plastic Pour Bottles.
• Perform and document line clearances.
• Verify correctness of material.
• Supply parts to and from the manufacturing operation.
• Operate forklift to transfer gaylords and totes to/from warehouse.
• Clean and bring empty gaylords into the department to be filled with preforms.
• Remove used gaylord bags and replace with new bags.
• Stack and remove filled preform gaylords from the production area and stage in the released warehouse area.
• Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean exercises.
• Maintain 6S and housekeeping responsibilities.
