Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Cleveland, MS is hiring a Material Handler III to support the production of Plastic Pour Bottles. You will verify materials, perform line clearances, and operate forklifts to move gaylords and totes between production and warehouse while upholding safety and 6S standards.

You will maintain documentation, support Lean initiatives, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure material flow and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Forklift driver training preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to read specifications and procedures.
• Able to complete documentation legibly and per procedure.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing processes for the production of Plastic Pour Bottles.
• Perform and document line clearances.
• Verify correctness of material.
• Supply parts to and from the manufacturing operation.
• Operate forklift to transfer gaylords and totes to/from warehouse.
• Clean and bring empty gaylords into the department to be filled with preforms.
• Remove used gaylord bags and replace with new bags.
• Stack and remove filled preform gaylords from production area and stage in the warehouse.
• Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean exercises.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping.
