Job summary

SHI Europe in Chesapeake, VA, is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Associate to load, unload, move and stock materials in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes forklift operation, material handling and accurate order fulfillment within a manufacturing environment.

The position requires three years of material handling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and adherence to safety policies with a willingness to perform pre-shift checks, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a clean, organized

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, check and store merchandise or materials
• Fill requisitions and orders
• Pack, crate and ship products and materials to departments or assembly lines
• Drive forklift, WAV (walk assist vehicle) or use pallet jack to move bulk products to the proper destination point.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Manual lifting will be required as part of regular daily work.
• Keep all direct work areas clean and well organized. Actively practice a culture of 5S (Sort, Set and Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) in the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety & regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
• Other duties as assigned

The base hourly range for this role is $21.44 - $26.77. Final salary will be based on experience.

Purpose and Scope of Job:
