Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Material Handler I to move material such as glass and metal within the plant, supporting efficient production flow. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in a production/manufacturing setting, can lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods on a concrete floor, and read basic measurements with a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements with a tape measure.
• Prior experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move material (glass/metal) between locations to expedite product flow.
• Perform tasks assigned by Production Supervisor.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read basic measurements and use a tape measure accurately.
• Adhere to quality standards for internal and external customers.
