Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II to support loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods at our Richmond, VA plant. You will manage material flow, operate a forklift, and ensure accurate handling per kanban and production needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience; preferred candidates will have 2+ years of order-pulling in a warehouse setting and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years forklift experience required.
• Preferred: 2+ years experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Reads orders and moves materials per instructions and Kanban.
• Receives, inspects, and routes incoming shipments; documents shortages and damages.
• Orders material from warehouse via ERP for production lines.
• Loads/unloads materials with forklift and by hand as needed.
• Operates forklift to move materials and load transport.
