Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II to support loading, unloading, and moving materials at the Richmond, VA plant. You will follow orders, manage incoming shipments, and coordinate with production using the ERP system.

A forklift certified or experienced operator is preferred, with solid physical stamina for heavy lifting and repetitive tasks. Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k, flexible spending, and paid holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years forklift experience.
• 2+ years experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Read sales orders and follow instructions to move materials.
• Receive, unpack, and route incoming materials; report shortages.
• Order material from warehouse via ERP for production lines.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and vehicles; use forklift as needed.
• Prepare materials for movement with banding or stretch wrap.
• Move materials using forklift to designated areas; attach labels.
• Stack/bundle materials; assist cycle counts and inventory as directed.
