Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Material Handler II for the 1st shift in San Jose, CA. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and processing materials against PO/shipping docs, maintaining inventory records, and preparing materials for shipment or production.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, stocking and distributing materials, and ensuring compliance with procedures. HS diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred. OT may be required as needed by the business.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory records and update inventory systems to support material tracking and accuracy.
• Prepare, package, and stage materials for shipment, production, or distribution activities.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and order pickers, as required.
• Stock, organize, and distribute materials throughout the facility to support operational needs.
• Follow documented procedures, work instructions, and recordkeeping requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Utilize computer systems and engineering drawings to support inventory, shipping, and warehouse operations.
• Support team success by training others on distribution processes and best practices when needed.
