Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler for the 3rd shift in Sunnyvale, TX. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks to pick orders, unload and load materials, and support daily warehouse tasks.

You must have a high school diploma, forklift certification, and 1+ years in a warehouse setting. The job requires standing, walking, and lifting with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1+ years in distribution/warehouse environment.
• Minimum 6 months of experience with stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, and order picker.
• Pallet jack experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment.
• Pull/assemble customer orders and check outbound orders for accuracy.
• Perform receiving duties and inventory cycle counts.
• Restock and label vendor products and maintain organized displays.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials.

Shift: 3rd Shift

• Monday- Friday

• 9:00PM-5:30AM

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

Major Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.

• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

• Operates forklift equipment.

• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.

• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift , sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.

• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.

• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks
