Dal-Tile is seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler for the 3rd shift. You will operate powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and move them to packing and shipping areas.

Responsibilities include pulling and assembling orders, performing receiving tasks, stocking, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the warehouse. Prior forklift experience and a high school diploma are required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; certified forklift operator.
• 1+ years of distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience with stand-up forklift/sit-down forklift and order picker; pallet jack experience ok.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to understand and speak basic English.
• Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsabilidades

• Operate powered industrial trucks to pick orders and convey to packing/shipping.
• Pull/assemble orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, stock checks, restock and label vendor products.
• Receive inbound material, unload shipments, stock material, process returns, and report damaged shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe facility by following Safety Program and reporting incidents.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials.

Shift: 3rd Shift

• Monday- Friday
• 9:00PM-5:30AM

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

Major Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift , sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.Ability to work safely and conscientiously.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks
