Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year shipping/receiving/inventory control experience in semiconductor/manufacturing or as a production operator.
• Working knowledge of clean room practices and operations.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000 standards preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process and track shipments and distributions of parts, supplies, and small equipment.
• Prepare records and documentation for materials to be shipped and used.
• Determine readiness status and prioritize shipping/delivery based on customer needs.
• Communicate potential delays to customer service promptly.
• Unpack and check goods against orders, maintain receiving records, and document discrepancies.
• Perform Oracle inventory movements and assist lab supply pulls.
• Maintain inventory levels and storage areas, including burn room/chemical storage.
• Lift heavy items up to 50 pounds as required.

Job description

Purpose:

Responsible for performing one or more of the following tasks involved in the shipping and/or distributing of parts, supplies, and small equipment or receiving and inspecting all incoming shipments and distributions to appropriate personnel.

Prepares records and maintains documentation of materials to be shipped. Prepares products for final shipment, determines "readiness" status and prioritizes shipping and delivery schedules based on customer needs, including determining delivery alternatives. Recognizes and communicates to customer service personnel potential problems that would delay shipments to customers.

Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders/invoices, maintains records, and completes proper documentation of receiving goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items when necessary. Performs Oracle inventory movements. Pulls and delivers materials requested by the lab. Works with Supply Chain Representatives to maintain proper inventory levels. Maintains stock and inventory levels in burn room / chemical storage rooms. Lifts heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Minimum of one year shipping/receiving/inventory control experience within a semiconductor/manufacturing environment or as a production operator
