Material Handler - Receiving

The role performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Verify and receive purchase orders according to Sanmina policy.
• Locate material and equipment needed for each job.
• Remove material and equipment from completed jobs.
• Issue and return material as instructed.
• Supply material to all jobs as assigned.
• May unload incoming material and store it in the proper place for consumption within the department.
• Obtain cycle counts.
• Practice safe working habits.
• Periodically check for unsafe conditions and correct as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer skills a plus.
• Forklift driving skills a plus.
