Job summary

TransCore - Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, seeks a Material Handler I to join our Albuquerque team. You will perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials to support manufacturing and ERP transactions.

Day shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, knowledge of inventory management, ability to read work orders, and a forklift license or willingness to obtain certification.

Qualifications

Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
Knowledge of inventory management and kitting processes.
Ability to read and interpret work orders; forklift certification preferred or willing to obtain.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Pulls material for work orders and use by manufacturing and other departments.
Audit work orders and material returned from Production for accuracy.
Counts inventory and assist with cycle counts as required.
Performs work order and inventory transactions in ERP system.
Packages, palletizes, secures and labels product/material for freight shipments.
Load and unload trucks as required; may operate forklifts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and workspaces.
Follow safety procedures and regulations related to material handling activities.
