TransCore - Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, seeks a Material Handler I to join our Albuquerque team. You will perform shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials to support manufacturing and ERP transactions.

Day shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience, knowledge of inventory management, ability to read work orders, and a forklift license or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsabilidades

• Pulls material for work orders and use by manufacturing and other departments.
• Audit work orders and material returned from Production for accuracy.
• Counts inventory and assist with cycle counts as required.
• Performs work order and inventory transactions in ERP system.
• Packages, palletizes, secures and labels product/material for freight shipments.
• Load and unload trucks as required; may operate forklifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and workspaces.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations related to material handling activities.

TransCore - Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Material Handler I to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Summary

Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

This position is for our day shift which is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pulls material for work orders and use by manufacturing and other departments.
• Audit work orders and material returned from Production for accuracy.
• Counts inventory and assist with cycle counts as required.
• Performs work order and inventory transactions in ERP system.
• Packages, palletizes, secures and labels product/material for freight shipments.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• May operate sit down and stand-up forklifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of material storage areas and workspaces.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations related to material handling activities.
• May operate company vehicles (if approved driver).

Requirements and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

• Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of inventory management
• Knitting Knowledge of kitting processes, including the ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Valid forklift operator's license preferred or willing to get certification.
• Knowledge of how to pack material and product to protect from damage.
• Valid driver's license desired
• Excellent communication/customer service skills.
• Experience with MS Office Software and ERP desired
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and moving traffic. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.
