Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Holland, OH seeks a Material Handler I to support safe, efficient material flow in manufacturing and service operations. You will move, store and track materials, and participate in inventory control to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include receiving and verifying shipments, maintaining records, labeling parts, and preparing items for shipment. Forklift experience and SAP/ERP familiarity are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• 1–3 years forklift experience or related forklift duties.
• 1–3 years Inventory Management Experience (Cycle Counting).
• Operator certification within 60 days (varies by department).
• 1–3 years SAP/MRP/ERP knowledge or exposure.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and verify incoming shipments.
• Store productive materials, supplies, tools, and equipment; issue items as required.
• Prepare for shipment and label parts for shipment.
• Maintain records and reports for receiving, stores, issuing, and shipments.
