Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Holland, OH is seeking a Lead Material Handler to drive inventory accuracy, lead a team, and oversee shipping/receiving functions. You will monitor performance, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate training to maintain efficient material flow.

The role requires forklift/box truck experience, SAP/ERP knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A high school diploma is required, with operator certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

Must be able to drive between Holland & Maumee facilities.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Operator certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Monitor and develop employees' performance to meet and exceed department goals.
Inventory management through cycle counting and control of stock movements.
Oversee shipping, receiving, and all stock movement activities.
Lead safety, quality, cost, production, and employee engagement initiatives.
Coordinate training and ensure adherence to procedures and protocols.
