Job summary

RK Logistics Group in Newark, CA is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and support inventory accuracy. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners while logging transactions in the Warehouse Management System.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in warehouse roles, basic computer skills, and demonstrate reliability, time management, and teamwork. Training in LEAN methods is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles, including 5S and 7S; training provided.
• Great communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instruction protocols.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience with Inventory control preferred.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Move material with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Unload inbound products and stage for processing.
• Load outbound products and verify counts.
• Weigh and measure items as required.
• Receive, unpack, and verify products for accuracy.
• Perform stock checks and cycle counts.
• Receive, stock, pick, and ship using RF tools.
• Consolidate pallets for storage and inventory.
• Label parts during receipt and put-away.
• Stage orders for shipping and ensure proper documents.
