Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking a Material Handler to process parts through the warehouse and WMS, operating forklifts and other machinery. Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and staging orders with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The role requires basic computer skills, LEAN knowledge, and strong teamwork. 0–2 years warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles (5S/7S).
• Great communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and standard work instructions.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior experience with Inventory control preferred.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material in the warehouse.
• Unload inbound customer products.
• Load product for outbound processing.
• Weigh and measure products (DIMS).
• Receive, unpack, and verify product for accuracy.
• Process receiving exceptions as needed.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock check and ship in WMS.
• Conduct stock checks and cycle counts; support physical inventory.
• Pack, re-pack and wrap products for shipping/storage.
• Consolidate partial pallets for location and inventory consolidation.
• Label parts during receipt, put-away, picking or shipping.
• Pick parts for orders and shipments.
• Stage orders in the staging area.
• Ensure delivery documents accompany orders (BOL, packing slip, tags).
• Inform supervisor of overages, shortages and damage.
• Perform warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance.
