Job summary

RK Logistics Group is seeking a qualified Material Handler to process parts through the warehouse and WMS system. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, unload inbound items, pick orders, and prepare shipments with accurate receiving and shipping documents.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, cycle counts, and cross-training across warehouse functions. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred; RF handhelds and basic computer skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Computer skills a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics or related industry.
• Knowledge of handhelds RF equipment a plus.
• May need to use light power tools.
• Forklift certification a plus: sit-down & stand-up.
• 1–3 years minimum sit-down forklift loading/unloading experience with previous certification.
• 1–3 years minimum material handling experience with WMS systems. Scanning capabilities.
• 1–3 years minimum cycle count / inventory control experience.

Responsibilities

• Use hand truck, dollies or pallet jack to move material or freight in the warehouse-storage facility.
• Two-man/ yard jobs support.
• Unload merchandise inbound; Load merchandise outbound.
• Weight merchandise, obtain measurements (DIMS).
• Receive, unpack, check and verify merchandise to ensure accuracy.
• Use handhelds RF tools to receive merchandise into WMS.
• Conduct stock checks, part number verification, cycle counts, and inventory support.
• Pack, re-pack & wrap product for shipping; consolidate pallets as needed.
• Stage completed orders or shipments to staging area; ensure proper delivery documents accompany orders.
