Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center associate in Lakeland, FL to perform material handling and inventory control tasks. You will receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise with precision, using RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems.

Responsibilities include ensuring inventory accuracy, following safety standards, and processing inbound/outbound shipments, returns, and vendor returns in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment and handle merchandise safely.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and processes.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Prior experience handling automotive parts or related merchandise.
• Experience operating WMS, RF scanners, or voice-picking equipment.
• Experience in productivity, quality, or performance-driven environments.
• Proficiency in one or more additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments, returns, acquisitions, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, WMS, and voice-picking systems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
