Job summary

KADEE Industries, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to receive, inspect, unload, and store raw and finished materials on the production floor. You will move materials with overhead cranes and forklifts, ensuring lines and workstations are supplied.

The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of material handling experience in metal manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: 1+ year material handling experience in steel/aluminum manufacturing preferred.
• Skills: Read metric and standard tape measures; basic arithmetic; use hand and power tools; strong communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: safely move materials using overhead cranes, combi forklifts, or other lifting equipment.
• Area Maintenance: keep work areas clean, organized, and neatly stacked.
• Receiving and Storage: inspect, unload deliveries, and interact with ERP system.
• Inventory Management: organize raw material storage and finished inventory locations.
• Stock Replenishment: replenish stock materials as needed.
• Loading and Shipping: load trucks and prepare products for shipment with zero defects.
• Safety and Reporting: report quality issues, near misses, incidents; post-accident drug testing.
• Training: participate in training and train new hires.
• Communication: work with others during shift changes and with truck drivers.
