Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of material handling experience preferred in steel/aluminum environments.
• Ability to safely operate tow motors and overhead cranes; reading tape measures and basic arithmetic.
• Strong written and verbal communication; driven team player who learns quickly.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: move materials safely using cranes and forklifts; keep lines and workstations stocked.
• Area Maintenance: keep areas clean, organized, and stacked; dispose of scrap materials.
• Receiving and Storage: receive, inspect, unload deliveries; record in ERP system.
• Inventory Management: organize raw material storage and finished goods locations.
• Stock Replenishment: replenish stock throughout the day as needed.
• Loading and Shipping: load trucks and prepare products for shipment with accuracy.
• Safety and Reporting: report quality issues, near misses, and incidents; follow safety rules.
• Training: participate in training and help train new hires; assist with cycle counts.
• Communication: coordinate with other units and truck drivers; assist shift changes.
