Job summary

SPX is seeking a Material Handler to join the team under the direction of the Machine Shop Manager. You will be responsible for accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards for safety, security and productivity.

The role requires maintaining quality and safety standards per SPX policies and supporting daily warehouse operations. Requirements include 1 year of warehouse experience, with ERP/IFS and Microsoft Office familiarity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• International shipping experience and/or certifications.
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Pull daily shop orders for internal customers by assembling production kits.
• Stage kits on the production floor in accordance with the assembly schedule.
• Daily clean up and organization.
• Safely conduct general warehousing, shipping and receiving activities.
• Follow instructions as trained and delivered by Lead person.
• Assist in efficiently pulling customer orders to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
• Stock inbound received parts.
• Package completed assemblies for shipment.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate records.
