Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Pasadena, Texas, is seeking a full-time team member for a food manufacturing facility. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with a $1.50 shift differential for eligible hours, and a first shift from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

You will move materials, stack pallets, perform audits, and assist with general maintenance and load processing. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 0–2 years of related experience, and the ability to work in subzero freezers for 4–8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility using carts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets and cleaning up scrap materials.
• Placing items in containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to count quantities of product and conduct intermediate material audits.
• Other duties such as general maintenance and processing load sheets.

What You Will Do

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to determine and count quantities of product moving throughout the facility and conducting intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (such as general maintenance work around the facility and processing of load sheets).
