Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring for a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment in Bridgeton, MO. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour for 1st shift (6am–2:30pm).

The position includes weekly Friday pay and a robust benefits package, with up to two weeks of paid time off in the first year, seven holidays and two personal days annually, and immediate vesting 401k with company match. You will move materials and supplies within the facility, operate material handling equipment, stack pallets,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years related experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4–8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and supplies using material handling equipment such as carts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
• Stack skids or pallets and clean/dispose of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Place items in containers or designated areas.
• Use lists to count quantities of product moving through the facility and perform intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (e.g., general maintenance and processing load sheets).

What You Will Do:

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
