Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring for a full-time role in a food manufacturing facility in New York. You will move materials, operate equipment like carts, pallet jacks and conveyors, and help with audits while maintaining safe, clean areas.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and up to 2 years of related experience, with the ability to work in subzero freezers for part of each shift. Training and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, using handling equipment as needed.
• Stacking skids or pallets; cleaning and disposing of scrap, bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to count quantities of product and conducting intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (general maintenance and processing of load sheets).

Starting Pay: $20 per hour

What You Will Do:
